On your mark... get set...

Go!
(Photo credit: By hylander44 on Flickr.)

Put on your running shoes and see if you can keep up with us. It's gonna be a busy weekend. From my planner:

  • Dance recital dress rehearsal (Done)
  • Football game (Over - our team made the playoffs! How many more weeks of football?)
  • Cheer practice (Done)
  • Neighborhood yardsale (Going on as I speak type.)
  • Bud fishing
  • Craft show (Not enough hours in the day so I'm skipping it. *Humph.*)
  • Purchase new hair curlers for Kat (Necessary to create "cheerleader hair.")
  • Dance recital
  • Cheer competition (We do live in Texas, y'all!)
That last item? Guaranteed to produce blog fodder for next week's postings. Maybe I'll even have pictures!

You definitely live in Texas! Football and cheering - Kristen was a cheerleader for just one year, and we didn't do football. But I do remember those busy days of having kids in and out. They're still in and out, but it's different - and the grands. Oh, the grands!

Oh my goodness! I'm exhausted just reading your list for today! And all I did was go out to Amish country to get some swiss cheese! (and check blogs, of course!)

AND...you're off!

One day down, one to go! Hope all went well today. Will be praying for Kat tomorrow. My princess will be thinking of and praying for her as well. Can't wait for the post giving all the juicy details (and photos!)

Love you,

HAHAH! I'm responding to your comment here about my "ugly" students cause I want to make sure you see it. haha!

I'm not sure that my husband is fully aware of the volume of Adonis-like students that I have. And this is just two of my hockey players!! When you're surrounded by guys in the best looking years of their lives you have to be careful. haha! Hubby HAS started calling me a groupie though, which I don't like. He's not phased by it b/c he knows cheating is a non-issue with me, he just likes to tease me about it. They are some pretty eye-candy though, aren't they? I'll do a post about "them" in a while.

I like your Saturday list better than what I did on Saturday.

Was the dance recital wonderful?

I remember those days.
